Preity Zinta has been missing from the silver screen since a long time and she is all set to make a comeback with her maiden home production under her own production company, PZNZ Media. The film is titled ‘Ishq in Paris’ and is written and directed by Prem Soni. Though the director denies it, the rumors are rife that the film is based on a Hollywood love story Before Sunrise which was based on the romance between a young American man and French woman.
Preity will be romancing a renowned French actor in the film but she has made it very sure that his name is kept strictly under wraps. Even the crew hasn’t been informed about him. The film is expected to go on the floor in the first week of November and will be shot mostly in Paris featuring tourist spots like Eiffel Tower and the Louvre Museum. Preity has taken special permission from the French Government to shoot at various spots with very minimal charges.Google Search

Veena Malik refuses Mohammad Asif’s plea for reconciliation
Pakistani cricketer Mohammad Asif was declared guilty of match fixing by the British courts on October 28. Four days before the verdict, the depressed cricketer call up his ex-girlfriend Veena Malik asking her to be with him in London. It may be mentioned here that Veena Malik had a one and a half year long live-in relationship with the cricketer. They broke up eventually and Asif got married to Sanaa.
However, Veena has firmly turned down his request. She says, “It was a mutual friend from, London, Zahid Ali Saab, who called me on October 26 stating that Asif wanted to desperately see me, that he wanted a reconciliation.
I declined. How can I turn back the clock? Asif and I shared a beautiful if stormy relationship. We were together until 2008 when I came to know about his match-fixing activities; I left him.”
Veena added, “I can’t deny I still have feelings for him. Relationships don’t die, ” admits the actress, and adds, “I’ve no hard feelings about any of my former boyfriends. My time with Asif was special. But I’ve moved on.
Asif is a happily married man. I know his wife Sanaa. In fact, when they were getting married, she called me up to find out about my relationship with Asif. I told her to please go ahead with the marriage.”
So firm is Veena about not rekindling her relationship with Asif that she even cancelled her trip to England to avoid meeting him. She said, “I was supposed to be there this week for an event. It’s best not to create situations where things can go out of hand.”Nargis Fakhri creates stirs with her topless photoshoot

Sunny Leone arrives in Mumbai to make a Big Boss entry
This is a well known fact that the entry of Pamela Anderson in the previous season of Big Boss had shot up its TRP ratings. Following the same pattern, the makers of Big Boss have signed up celebrated porn star Sunny Leone, whose real name is Karen Malhotra, to make an entry in the house.
Even before Leone makes it into the house, Twitter is abuzz with status updates which prove that the makers have taken just the right decision. Here are some of them:
“Sunny Leone, come and make Bigg Boss 5 exciting. I am sick of these hyterical women and twerps pretending to be men.(sic)”
“Now expect Shiv Sena to greet Sunny Leone at the airport or breaking the studio/set of ColorsTV/Bigg Boss 5(sic)”
“Just found out they brought ‘Sunny Leone’ to Bigg Boss. Guess what my new favourite show is!(sic)”
“Girls will leave the industry claiming that they found God. Well, the fact is, God has always been with them the entire time ~ Sunny Leone(sic)”
Sunny Leone has already arrived in Mumbai to be a part of Big Boss. Check out Sunny as she steps in Mumbai….
Mahesh Bhatt to revive his ‘Blue Film’ with Sunny Leone
Porn star Sunny Leone has just stepped into our country as a Big Boss 5 house entrant and Bollywood filmmakers are all too eager to cast her in their projects. The first one to take Leone as the lead in his film is none other than Mahesh Bhatt who has decided to revive his shelved project ‘Blue Film’ with his son Rahul Bhatt.
Years ago Mahesh Bhatt had planned to launched his son Rahul Bhatt with this movie and had even offered the film to Sunny Leone back then, but things just did not work out. Now, the Bhatts are reviving the project with a few changes in the script.
The film will be in line with their ‘Murder’ series and Sunny will definitely be playing a porn star in the film. So, we suppose this leaves no doubts regarding the hotness quotient of the film.Veena Malik performs her own stunts in her 3D horror flick
Her romance with Ashmit Patel in the last season of Big Boss kick started Pakistani actress Veena Malik’s career in Bollywood. At present, she has a 3D horror flick in her kitty for which she is currently shooting in a jungle in southern India.
Talking about the flick, Veena said: ‘It’s a 3D horror film with Telugu filmmaker Hemant Madhukar, and it’s really hard to shoot.’
‘For one, we are shooting in the wilderness. There are no luxury hotels, no daily comforts. Then it’s a 3D film, not like the other 3D films in Hindi where the 2D format is converted into 3D. We are shooting in 3D which means every shot takes hours sometimes. It’s really time consuming because I am playing both the ‘thriller’ and ‘horror’ element of the film,’ she added.
Veena detailed that she has done all the stunts in the film on her own. ‘(There’s) lots of wirework and flips and somersaults and bruises and cuts. I am roughing it out here in the jungles and enjoying every bit of it!’ she revealed.
For those who are still unaware, the actress will appear in the reality show ‘Swayamvar’ as the next star after Rakhi Sawant, Rahul Mahajan and Ratan Rajput.Bachchan family upset with the morphed pictures of Ash with her baby

‘A word of appreciation too, to the print media for highlighting a few salient points… our joy in welcoming the girl child… and emphasising the commendable desire of Aishwarya in having a normal delivery without any epidural or pain killers. The often coined phrase ‘too posh to push’ was put to rest in her case… she was determined to do it the way she felt was correct!’ he added.

Ever since our Government has expressed his thoughts of censoring social media sites like Facebook, BJP leaders have raised their brows wondering why Government wants to repress social media when it is not censoring the Indo-Canadian porn star Sunny Leone who is now on family television and is hogging a lot of limelight.
Kapil Sibal states our society is ‘not as mature as in the West’ while Anurag Singh Thakur asks, “Why do they want to censor Facebook, when they don’t censor Sunny Leone?”
A day after Communications Minister Kapil Sibal advocated screening of inflammatory or offensive content on social networking sites, Thakur said at a conference on effective legislatures organised by PRS Legislative Research, “Thousands of children are searching for her on internet and getting connected to porn sites.”
Thakur added that social media was a platform for common expression and should be allowed to grow and become mature. “Social media should be given time to get mature. There are options like watermarking.”FHM threatens Veena Malik with a counter lawsuit
Veena Malik’s nude pose on the covers of FHM has created stirs in the last few days. The actress claims that the images are fake and she has also sued the magazine claiming Rs. 10 crores for the damages.
However, there has been a role reversal it seems, as the magazine has now sent an 11-page reply to Veena’s notice, rubbishing all her claims and even threatening a lawsuit of Rs. 25 crore.
In their notice, the magazine stated, “Your client permitted our clients for her photo as well as video shoots which were carried out by our clients with the consent and authority of your client. It would be pertinent to mention herein that your client pursued FHM magazine via photographer Vishal Saxena in October 2011 for a shoot. Your client wanted to do a sexy, bold and in-your-face shoot and to express intent for the same she also sent through Saxena pictures of her in bikinis etc, to show that she was in good shape for a shoot for FHM.”
Threatening Veena Malik with a counter lawsuit, the notice said: “It is further stated that in the circumstances our clients are free to initiate legal proceedings including filing a criminal complaint against your client (Veena Malik) for offences under Indian Penal Code besides claiming general and special damages to the tune of Rs.25,00,00,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Crores Only) i.e. Rs.15,00,00,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Crore Only) to the client No. 1, Rs. 5,00,00,000/- (Rupees Five Crore Only) to client No. 2 and Rs. 5,00,00,000/- (Rupees Five Crore Only) to client No.3,) and will also take any other appropriate legal action entirely at your cost, risk and consequences.”

Riya Sen
Riya Sen was born on 24 January 1981 and she is an Indian film actress and model. Riya, who hails from a family of actors including her grandmother Suchitra Sen, mother Moon Moon Sen and sister Raima Sen, began her acting career in 1991 as a child artiste in the film Vishkanya. Her first commercial success in her film career was with Style, a 2001 Hindi low-budget sex comedy directed by N. Chandra. Some of her other films include producer Pritish Nandy's musical film, Jhankaar Beats (2001) in Hinglish, Shaadi No. 1 (2005) Malayalam horror film Ananthabhadram (2005).
Riya was first recognised as a model when she performed in Falguni Pathak's music video Yaad Piya Ki Aane Lagi at the age of sixteen. Since then, she has appeared in music videos, television commercials, fashion shows, and on magazine covers.she has been a heart throbbing sensation throughout india and is known for her gorgeuos smile.she has one of the most beautiful faces in the whole cinema. Riya has worked as an activist and appeared in an AIDS awareness music video with the aim of dispelling popular myths about the disease. She also helped raise funds for pediatric eye-care. Riya has faced controversies such as a MMS clip with actor Ashmit Patel, her semi-nude photograph on photographer Dabboo Ratnani's annual calendar and her on-screen kisses in a conservative Indian film industry.
Acting career
Riya first appeared as a child artist in the film Vishkanya in 1991, where she played the role of the young Pooja Bedi. At the age of 18, she did National Film Awards winning director Bharathiraja's Tamil film, Taj Mahal (2000), which did not achieve commercial success. She was scheduled to make her Bollywood film debut in Love You Hamesha, opposite actor Akshaye Khanna; however, the film was stalled, and she finally made her debut in N. Chandra's Style in 2001. This low-budget sex comedy was the first commercial success in over a decade for the director. A launch pad for Riya, cast in the female lead along with fellow-newcomers, Sharman Joshi, Sahil Khan and Shilpi Mudgal, the film pioneered a trend of commercial success for small budget films in India. Riya and the second female lead of the film were replaced by aspirant actresses Sunali Joshi and Jaya Seal in Xcuse Me, the sequel of Style.
Her next success was Jhankaar Beats, a comedy revolving around the music of legendary composer R D Burman, which saw her playing a small and glamorous role alongside Shayan Munshi, Juhi Chawla, Rahul Bose, Rinke Khanna and Sanjay Suri. Produced by Pritish Nandy, publishing director of The Times of India, the film was made on a budget of Rs. 25 million (US$525,000), marking the sixth in a row of small to medium budget films made by Pritish Nandy Communications (PNC). Despite being part of a wave of offbeat films that mostly failed to make an impact at the box office, it drew public attention upon its release, which led to a commercial success among a restricted audience targeted by a selective release in twenty cities. It was one of the first films made in Hinglish, a mixture of Hindi and English. In 2005, she starred in Shaadi No. 1, which had no female lead. This comedy, based on the theme of modern marriage, was directed by David Dhawan, a renowned film director from this genre.
Although films like Style and Jhankar Beats succeeded commercially, most of her later films have generated less revenue. A number of them remained unfinished. While many of her appearances have been item numbers and cameos, few of her leading roles have been in low-budget films. Though she had small roles in Dil Vil Pyar Vyar (2002), Qayamat (2003) and Plan (2004), attention was drawn to her item numbers in all three, especially the one in Qayamat that featured her in a bubble-bath. Besides this, she performed another item number in James (2005) on director-producer Ram Gopal Varma's behest, who has a history of casting aspirant actress-models like Sameera Reddy, Isha Koppikar and Koena Mitra in similar roles. Furthermore, she took part in a dance number for Sajid Khan's Heyy Babyy (2007) that featured several mainstream Bollywood actresses.
Non-Hindi films
Riya has, in addition to Bollywood films, appeared in Bengali, Tamil,Telugu, Malayalam and English films. Her film career began in the earnest with Tamil films such as Bharathi Raja's Taj Mahal, co-starring Manjoj Bharatiraja in the male lead, and Manoj Bhatnaghar's Good Luck, oppsite Prasanth. Both of the films failed commercially, and she had a brief reappearance in Tamil cinema only to perform in a dance number for N. Maharajan's Arasatchi.
Her first English language movie was It Was Raining That Night, a remake of the Bengali film Hei Brishtir Raat, scripted by Sudeshna Roy and directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. In the film, she collaborated with mother Moon Moon Sen. Riya was slated to appear in Anjan Dutta's Bengali-English bilingual film The Bong Connection with her sister, but she was eventually dropped from the project and replaced by Peeya Rai Chaudhary. The two sisters were later cast together in director Ajai Sinha's The Bachelor, a Bengali film that, as of 2008, is yet to be finished.
Her most successful non-Hindi film has been director Santhosh Sivan's Ananthabhadram (2005). The first Malayalam venture for both Riya and Sivan, was both a critical and commercial success. It won five Kerala State Film Awards and surfaced as one of the biggest Malayalam successes that year. She played the role of Bhama in the film, a village girl who is lured by Digambaran, the evil magician portrayed by Manoj K Jayan. In a song-and-dance sequence showing Digambaran turning Bhama into a medium for demonic rituals, the choreographer Aparna Sindoor made abundant use Kathakali movements. The use of Kathakali has been a high point in the resurgence of the classical dance form in other major Indian films as well, including Shaji Karun's Vanaprastham (1999) and Adoor Gopalakrishnan's Kalamandalam Ramankutty Nair (2005). She made her Telugu Debut with Nenu Meeku Telusa...?, in which she was paired opposite Manoj Manchu.
Modeling career
Riya became a popular model when she appeared in numerous music videos for songs by popular singers, including Falguni Pathak's Yaad Piya Ki Aane Lagi (alternative title: Chudi Jo Khankayi), Asha Bhosle's Jhumka Gira Re, Jagjit Singh and Bhosle's Jab Samne Tum and Kahin Kahin Se, Lata Mangeshkar, Bhonsle and Singh's Dil Kahin Hosh Kahin, Sonu Nigam's Jeena Hai Tere Liye and Shaan's Sutta Maro. She shot for her first music video, Yaad Piya Ki Aane Lagi, at the age of sixteen. This led to her being identified primarily as a performer for music videos early in her career, an image she aimed to shed in 2005. Riya has appeared on several magazine covers, including Femina, Elaan, Man's World, Gladrags, Savvy and Indian versions of Elle, Maxim and Cosmopolitan, as well as on the ramp of major fashion shows like Lakmé Fashion Week (200507) and Wills Fashion Week (20062007). She participated in fashion shows along with her elder sister, Raima Sen. Besides modeling, Riya has ventured into the advertisement world as well. A high point of her modeling career came in 2006, when she became the soft drink, Limca's brand ambassador, replacing Deepika Padukone. Her other notable assignments include Colgate, Dabur Vatika, Reliance Industries, Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate, and Nirma.
In 2004, she was featured partially nude in leading Indian photographer Dabboo Ratnani's annual calendar, which is a major happening in the Indian glamor industry. According to Daboo, "Her mother saw it much later, after the calendar released. She thought it was too sexy, and Riya shouldn't have done it. But the response to the photograph was superb. Riya was so thrilled that for her next ad campaign, she asked me to light her up like I did in this." A career highlight for the model, it led to a three year contract with Ratnani to feature her on his annual calendar. She is the only female face to be featured on the calendar in five consecutive years (200307).
Personal life and family
Born on 24 January 1981 in Kolkata, West Bengal, Riya is the daughter of Moon Moon Sen, a former actress, and granddaughter of Suchitra Sen, a legend in Bengali cinema. Before moving to Mumbai, she lived in Kolkata with her parents and sister Raima Sen, also an actress. Her father Bharat Dev Varma is a member of the royal family of Tripura. Her paternal grandmother, Ila Devi, was the princess of Cooch Behar, whose younger sister Gayatri Devi was the Maharani of Jaipur. Her paternal grandmother Indira was the only daughter of Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III of Baroda. Riya's maternal great-grandfather Adinath Sen was a prominent Kolkata businessman, whose father Dinanath Sen - a relative of former Union Law Minister Ashoke Kumar Sen- was the Diwan or a Minister of the Maharaja of Tripura. The sisters are credited on-screen under their mother's maiden name, although their official papers carry the surname Dev Varma.
Riya completed her schooling at Loreto House and Rani Birla College, both in Kolkata. Thereafter, she studied at the National Institute of Fashion Technology, and she took up jewellery-designing as a hobby. She designs most of the clothes that she wears in films and commercials. Riya is trained in Kathak and is still pursuing it under Vijayshree Chaudhury. She is taking kickboxing lessons and has completed Level I of the 5 levels in belly dancing. Riya entered the film industry through small-time modeling assignments, commuting between Mumbai and Kolkata and traveling by public transport during the her early career. After breaking into the film industry, she shifted from her mother's house in Ballygunge Circular Road in south Kolkata to Mumbai. There she moved into the family house in Juhu, where she stays with her sister. During her stay in Mumbai, the media romantically linked her to model and actor John Abraham. In the Bollywood press, she was, in 2008, speculatively linked to the novelist Salman Rushdie, although both stated that they were simply good friends.
Riya has suffered a number of untimely incidents. During the filming of Shaadi No. 1 in France, she was knocked unconscious after being accidentally run over by a stuntman's motorbike, but she was not seriously injured. Shortly before the release of Silsiilay, in which she starred opposite her boyfriend Ashmit Patel, a 90-second video clip was circulated through Multimedia Messaging Services and the internet, showing the pair in compromising situations. This was one of a number of controversies that erupted when celebrities were caught in similar situations using cameraphones. Following this incident, the couple split up, although Riya denied that she was the girl in the MMS clip. One commentator claimed that the footage was an orchestrated publicity stunt. In 2007, she underwent a brief detoxification session in Bangkok for addiction to chocolate.
Public persona
Riya's on-screen performances have established her as a sex symbol and youth icon in India. Since entering the film industry, she has gained attention for wearing a bikini in Shaadi No. 1 and sharing on-screen kisses with co-stars Ashmit Patel in Silsiilay and Sharman Joshi in Style, respectively. Such performances garnered attention because of the relatively conservative outlook of Indian cinema and her own statements about such practises. Before becoming a film identity, she had a reputation for partying, which started at the age of fifteen. Riya's public persona is compared to her mother Moon Moon, who was seen as a sex symbol of her time, while her sister Raima is mostly compared their grandmother Suchitra.
Although her film career has yet to achieve large-scale success, Riya has generated considerable media attention. She was ranked ninth on Femina 50 Most Beautiful Women, published in the magazine's September 2007 issue. She was a jury member for the 2008 Final of the Mr. India contest. Along with Bollywood actors such as Waheeda Rehman, Shilpa Shetty, Dia Mirza, Raveena Tandon, Jackie Shroff, Naseeruddin Shah, Tabu and Lara Dutta, Riya appeared in Haath Se Haath Mila, an HIV/AIDS awareness music video. She made charity appearances at McDonald's India to raise money for paediatric eye-care during World Children's Week (November 1420) in 2003.

The year 1995 proved to be very successful for Kajol, as she went on to star in two of the year's biggest hits. Her first release was Rakesh Roshan's Karan Arjun. The film, which dealt with reincarnation, became the second biggest hit of the year. While her next three releases that year failed at the box office, her last release, Aditya Chopra's directorial debut, the romance Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, was not only the biggest hit of that year, but one of Hindi cinema's biggest hits. In 2008, the film entered its twelfth year in Mumbai theaters, grossing over 12 billion rupees overall, making it one of the biggest blockbusters in Bollywood. Kajol's performance in the film was praised, and she received her first Filmfare Best Actress Award. Kajol had only one release in 1996, Bambai Ka Babu, opposite Saif Ali Khan, which was a box office failure. In 1997, Kajol starred in Gupt: The Hidden Truth. Co-starring actors Bobby Deol and Manisha Koirala, the film was one of the highest grossing films of that year. Apart from that, her performance was a significant development for female actors in Bollywood; she was the first female actor to win the Filmfare Best Villain Award. Her next film release that year was Hamesha. Like Karan Arjun, the film dealt with the topic of reincarnation. However, unlike the latter, it failed at the box office. She next starred in her first Tamil film, Minsaara Kanavu. The film was a major critical success and Kajol won her first Best Actress award at the Filmfare Awards South ceremony. Her final release of that year was the romantic-comedy Ishq, where she was paired with her then future husband, Ajay Devgan. It performed well at the box office. She had a double role in the film, and won her first Star Screen Award for Best Actress for her performance. She next starred opposite Ajay Devgan in the romance Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha, which was the second biggest hit of that year. Kajol had only two films released in 2001. She first played a double role in the drama Kuch Khatti Kuch Meethi, which was a commercial failure. However, she reinvented her success in her second venture with Karan Johar, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, which was one of the biggest hits of the year, and for which she won several Best Actress awards, including her third Filmfare Best Actress Award and her second Star Screen Award for Best Actress. Critic Taran Adarsh, wrote of her performance in the film, "Kajol is first-rate in the role of a typical Chandni Chowk lass. Her Punjabi dialect will win her immense praise. The sequence when she seeks Amitabh's aashirwad, without him knowing about it, is terrific." Following the success of Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Kajol took a sabbatical from full time acting for five years. She gave birth to her daughter Nysa in 2003. She made a successful comeback in 2006 with Kunal Kohli's drama Fanaa, one of the highest grossing films of the year. (Kajol's late aunt, Nutan currently holds the record for five such awards). U, Me aur Hum, which released on 11 April 2008, marked her husband Ajay Devgan's directorial debut. The film performed moderately at the box office and Kajol was critically praised for her sensitive portrayal as an Alzheimer patient. For her performance in the film, she received her tenth Filmfare Best Actress Award nomination. Raja Sen wrote in his review, ""... Kajol ... can span through happy-breezy with her eyes closed, and so the first half doesn't even pose her a challenge, but when Alzheimer's strikes Piya and she begins to forget all that matters in her life, Kajol raises the bar strikingly high." Kajol was recently seen in Karan Johar's new movie My Name Is Khan, which is based on a true story, against the backdrop of perceptions on Islam post 11 September. ‘Dedh Ishqiya’ sans the essence of Vidya Balan?
The talk about ‘Ishqiya’ is incomplete without the mention of Vidya Balan oozing raw sensuous beauty in the flick and sure enough, Vidya bagged in as many as four film awards for her performance in the flick. Now, the announcement of ‘Dedh Ishqiya’, the sequel of the flick, without Vidya in it was something which we could not digest easily but this happens to be a fact.
It seems that the makers did not have any role for Vidya in the new script where Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi continue their parts and this time they will fall in love with two different girls. Rumors have it that Madhuri Dixit has been approached for one lead but she has demanded a very high fee.
Vidya, who is in news for her role based on Silk Smitha in her forthcoming ‘Dirty Picture’ also attended the party where Vishal Bhardwaj announced his ‘Ishqiya 2’.Congratulations and Best Wishes to the expectant Aishwarya Rai Bachchan!!

Reports also have it that Mahesh Bhatt had tried to call up Sajid in order to request him for allowing Jacqueline fly down to Mumbai for the promotional events of ‘Murder 2’ but Sajid was just unavailable.

After Minissha Lamba, Bipasha Basu, and Mallika Sherawat’s brother, the latest name to join the bandwagon of actors detained at the sirport for carrying undeclared goods is Band Baaja Baraat actress Anushka Sharma. Anushka was allegedly carrying undeclared jewelary with her while she was returning from Toronto after attending the IIFA awards.
Dia Mirza was along with her when she was being questioned and she expressed her displeasure with the attitude of the customs department towards the celebrities.
“Considering the news of their detainment leaks out even before anyone outside knows of their arrival proves beyond a doubt that someone in there (at the airport) loves the attention,” she said.
“This time, when I was headed to Toronto, I probed as to why I wasn’t provided a (Customs) certificate. I was told by the Customs officer that they do not evaluate jewellery as they are not equipped to,” she said.
Mirza added, “I was there when Anushka was being questioned and I know for a fact that she was carrying scanned images of every item of jewellery and letter of evaluation from the sponsored jeweller. What she did not have was a Customs certificate, which she tried to avail, but was not given. In fact, the officer at the departure gate told many of us to wear all our jewellery on arrival to avoid questioning.”Priyanka Chopra sports 1960s looks for Kunal Kohli’s next

Preity Zinta and her French connection!!
Well, it is known by now that Preity Zinta has stepped into the production zone and her first film will be directed by Prem Soni (Mein Aur Mrs. Khanna fame). What is news is that the bubbly actress has decided to rope in two leading French actors for her film- Fabrice Luchini to play the main lead in her film and the other one is a younger actor, whose name has not been revealed yet. Fabrice, who was recently seen in films such as Service Entrance, Potiche and The Girl from Monaco, is a well- known French actor and this would be his first brush with Indian films.
Preity’s production will be a romantic comedy which will reveal the essence of both Indian and French culture and will be made in three languages- Hindi, English and French. And yes, Preity will of course be a part of the cast. Both the producer and the director are currently in Paris, discussing the film with actors, and scouting for suitable locations for the shoot.
