A sneak-peak into ‘Thank You’

Set for a release on April 8 this year, ‘Thank You’ is a multi starrer comedy directed by Anees Bazmee. The impressive star cast of the film includes Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Irrfan Khan, Celina Jaitley, Sunil Shetty and Rimi Sen. The film is shot in exotic locales of Canada: Vancouver and Niagra Falls.

For the first time in the movie, stylish Sonam Kapoor is paired against Khiladi Akshay Kumar and going by the photographs posted by Sonam from the sets of Thank You on her Twitter account, the pairing is impressive. Sonam’s character is that of a tennis player while Akki is a playboy who falls in love with her. Well, given the craze of item numbers in Bollywood, the flick too boasts of an item number and that too a one shot on super hot Mallika Sherawat.

The film goes by the tagline ‘Husbands will be sorry… Wives say thank you’ and with Anees Bazmee and Akshay Kumar teaming up once again, it hopes to re-create the success story of ‘Welcome’ and ‘Singh Is Kinng’.
